Introduced in 1995, the ARRIFLEX 435 is a compact, high-speed Super 35mm MOS film camera built for demanding production work. Running 1–150 fps (down to 0.1 fps on Advanced/Xtreme models) with crystal-accurate speed control, it’s the go-to choice for ramping shots, action sequences, and any setup where sync sound isn’t the priority.

The camera features a Super 35-compatible PL mount, 4-perf pulldown movement, and a continuously adjustable shutter (11.2°–180°) that can be changed on the fly, whether running or in standby. A 360° rotating viewfinder maintains an upright image from either eye, and integrated video assist support makes on-set monitoring seamless. Magazines are available in 400 ft and 1000 ft capacities, including Steadicam-ready options.

Weighing just 6.5 kg (14.3 lbs) without magazine, the 435 packs pro-level versatility into a lightweight body suited for handheld, Steadicam, and crane work alike.
